Coldest Place In The World:
Scientists have identified a place believed to be the coldest in the world. What's known as Ridge A is located 14,000 feet and is located on the Antarctic plateau. When winter where it has an average temperature of minus 70 degrees centigrade and very remote, it is estimated that no man there.

A team of scientists from the U.S. and Australia to identify Ridge A from satellite images and model climatology when looking for the best observation locations in the world. These locations are in Australian Antarctic territory, nearly 90 miles from where observation robots already exist.

Will Saunders, head of the study noted that in addition to very low temperatures, the site has a very low water content in the air. "There is so quiet and almost no wind and even the weather," he said. combination of all these elements makes the place perfect for astronomical observation post. "Astronomical images taken from Ridge A, at least three times sharper than a place that is often used by astronomers," says Saunders.

Because the sky is darker and not cloudy, it means a simple telescope has the same power with the largest telescopes anywhere on earth. Scientists believe if the telescope were placed in these locations can approach Hubble telescope image quality that is in space. Currently the best place on earth observation lies on top of a mountain in Hawaii and Chile.
