World's First Computer Game |
MIT students celebrated the 50th anniversary of Spacewar, one of the earliest computer games were made in 1962 at MIT computer the size of a refrigerator.
The game is made by four students in 1962 on the 'minicomputer' PDP-1, and last week, MIT students to build a new version that can run on a palm-sized electronic rig, based on the original code programmed 40 years ago.

The code of the game runs to 40 pages, and can still be played online, in a version that is constantly updated to run the game in a new browser code.
The game is made in a room known as the 'Space kludge' at MIT, which is a room where students play with the latest hardware.
